We are delighted to be delivering Our Biennale again this year, supported by Arts Council England, Kirklees Council, KYOM23 and Little Lives.
Our theme is Magnificent Me! This is an opportunity for children to take over the streets, make a noise, be heard, be seen and look magnificent! We want children and young people to feel that they have a right to impact on their environment. As Picasso said ‘All children are artists’.
Our Biennale 2022 has seen arts projects in schools, in the community and in youth groups with over 3000 children taking part in over 80 workshops over the last 2 months.
Join us on 2nd July at one of our finale events which celebrate the creativity of children and young people in Kirklees.
The Magnificent Me Piazza Parade takes place at 1.30pm with lots of creative things going on in the Piazza for children and families from 11am-3pm.
Summer Slam, an event for teens and young people includes a pop up skate park, street art workshops, young bands and DJs.
