Funding by Reaching Communities ensures MakerWorld can continue until April 2026!

The Children’s Art School is delighted to announce that we have been given funding by Reaching Communities to ensure that our MakerWorld offer can continue until April 2026. A massive thank you to players of the National Lottery!

This funding means that we will be delivering free creative activities throughout the year. MakerWorld will be open every Saturday 11am-3pm for families with children of all ages and will be open for pre-schoolers on Fridays 10am-12noon (term time only). Plus there will be extra sessions during school holidays.

MakerWorld aims to provide opportunities for children and families to discover their individual creative potential. It provides extraordinary, hands-on, creative opportunities for children and their parents/carers, facilitating joyful and adventurous engagement and positive family time.

Our regular participants will be delighted to know that our lead artist at MakerWorld, Isobel Denton, will continue in her role. Her wonderful activities support children to develop creative thinking skills, encourage play and imagination and champion individual creativity.
