The Children’s Art School are looking to expand their team of freelance artist facilitators.
We need enthusiastic visual arts practitioners who enjoy working with children, are great communicators and love a creative challenge!
If you fit that description and are looking for freelance opportunities join us for a free creative training session at our MakerWorld space in Huddersfield on Wednesday 1st May 10.30am- 1pm.
You will need to be able to work at weekends and during school holidays. Ideally you will have a degree or higher in visual arts and some experience of working with children or within the community. Please note this is for adhoc freelance, not regular work.
We want to expand our team to more fully represent the diverse communities we work with and therefore are keen to hear from artists with heritage from the global majority.
We also welcome interest from recent graduates who need to gain more experience in order to build up confidence but are interested in a career in participatory arts.
Please send an expression of interest by Thursday 18th April to hello@thechildrensartschool.co.uk. Include your CV and tell us why you would like to work with The Children’s Art School.
