Huddersfield New College students work with artist Zoe Robertson to create wearable art
It was a real pleasure working with foundation art and design and dance students at Huddersfield New College as part of the Our Biennale programme. It was exciting to work with these talented students whose dedication and determination to create work for the project really impressed me. They were challenged to experiment with ideas and realised finished work over a 2-day project whereby they had to tackle complex problem solving, challenge their preconceptions and work in ways they have not experienced before.
In design teams they created wearable art for the dance students to animate and bring to life by choreographed movement, for an exciting performance and exhibition as part of Our Biennale.
