MakerWorld is a place where extraordinary creative encounters happen
Our weekly free, drop-in sessions in Huddersfield’s Piazza Centre and Dewsbury Princess of Wales precinct (Saturdays 11am-3pm), (Little Makers, Huddersfield Fridays 10-12) offer interactive experiences that encourage hands-on engagement with art and extraordinary creative encounters.
We also successfully piloted a MakerWorld Gallery, supported by Arts Council England and we have plans to develop a permanent children’s art gallery offer in the future.

MakerWorld is a beautiful, inclusive community reflecting the town’s cultural diversity
Some 23% of our families tell us they are eligible for free school meals and 66% say they ‘never’ or ‘rarely’ take part in creative activities outside our sessions. Our sessions are led by local artists and offer work experience and employment to local young people.
