Kirklees Children’s Biennale

We are very excited to announce that The Children’s Art School has been given a £46, 000 Grants for the Arts Award by Arts Council England to deliver a Kirklees Children’s Biennale (that’s a bi-annual Arts Festival !)

Supported by and on behalf of the Kirklees Cultural Education Partnership the Biennale will reach hundreds of children and young people in Kirklees offering high quality arts experiences with organisations such as Chol Theatre, Manasamitra, Musica, Phoenix Dance, Huddersfield Contemporary Music festival and West Yorkshire Print Workshop.

The Kirklees Children’s Biennale aims to bring new artistic experiences to children and young people in the region, to raise the profile of arts education and to develop cross art collaborations between arts organisaions in and around Kirklees in projects which place children and young people at the heart of the creative process.
